Our meeting format depends on the day.
On Tuesday evenings, we sit zazen for 25 minutes, have a brief kinhin (walking meditation), and then read together from Buddhist literature and have discussion afterward, with the discussion focused on exploring how the reading manifests in our direct experience.
On Saturday mornings, our format is:
- 25 minutes of zazen (sitting meditation)
- 10 minutes of kinhin (walking meditation)
- 25 minutes of zazen
Newcomers are welcome on either day. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can help situate you and answer any questions.
If you use a cushion for zazen, feel free to bring it. Chairs are available for those who prefer them.
